Managing General Partner at Agate Medical Investments LP and Agate-MaC LP VC Funds, with over $100M under management.Served as active board member of numerous high-tech and industrial companies. Currently serves on the BOD of Ornim Medical, Cell Cure Medical, Enlivex, Kahr Medical and Xenia VenturesPrior to Agate Medical Investments, founded and managed Matar Capital Advisors, a venture boutique. Michel Habib served for close to 4 years as Elron’s Business Development Director, focusing on the Medical Devices sector. Prior to Elron, he established and managed the investment banking activity of ING Barings in Israel. Formerly, he served as Vice President Investment Banking at Cukierman & Co. During the 90’s Mr. Habib served as diplomat in Israel’s foreign service, where he served as Economic Consul in Boston, and earlier as Israel’s first Commercial Attache to South Korea. As Officer (Captain Res.) in the IDF Navy he was involved in the development of advanced Naval systems for the Navy’s elite unit. Mr. Habib holds an Aeronautical Engineering degree from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. He is a graduate from the foreign service Cadet School, and member of the Technion Alumni “100 Club”. Michel was born in Paris, France, immigrated to Israel in 1973.
